The pipeline

1. Map once: order fields → named layers/Smart Objects (names, photos, dates, options)
2. Define rules: auto-fit text, photo masking, variant switching, quality gates
3. Batch run: ZIPs in → PSDs fill → PDFs out, named by order
4. Review exceptions only: problem orders isolated with logs

Layer conventions that make it work

Named text layers (NAME_MAIN), photo Smart Objects (PHOTO_1), variant groups (VARIANT_Birthday). Light cleanup of your existing PSD is usually all that's needed — the design never changes.

Export that the floor loves

PDFs named SKU_OrderID.pdf, foldered by date/SKU, with EAN-128 barcodes and quantity counts. See order processing and personalization rules.
